Editorial Policy
How we research, write, fact-check, and correct the finance content on this site.
Last updated: 2026
Independence
Editorial decisions are independent of advertising and affiliate partnerships. We do not allow advertisers to review, edit, or approve articles before publication. Sponsored content, if ever published, is clearly labelled "Sponsored" at the top of the page.
Sourcing
- Primary sources first: IRS publications, statutory texts, official rate schedules, peer-reviewed research, and central-bank data.
- Secondary sources (Tax Foundation, OECD, Morningstar, Vanguard research) are used to corroborate.
- Every numerical claim links to the underlying source where one is publicly available.
Fact-checking
Articles are reviewed by a second editor against primary sources before publication. Calculation examples are spot-checked against the corresponding on-site calculator.
AI assistance
We use large language models to draft and structure portions of explanatory content. Every AI-assisted draft is reviewed and edited by a human against primary sources before publication. See our AI Disclaimer for details.
Corrections
We correct factual errors promptly. Substantive corrections include a dated note at the bottom of the article. Email corrections@worldwealthcalc.com to report an error.
Updates
Evergreen articles are reviewed at least annually and after any material change in law, tax tables, or long-run return data. The Last updated date on each article reflects the most recent substantive review.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links to brokerages, ETF providers, and tax-software vendors are affiliate links. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never determine which products we cover or how we rate them.
Not financial advice
All content is educational. It is not personalised tax, legal, or investment advice. See our Disclaimer.
